Double Smoked Ham with Cherry Cola Glaze

Ham on Easter is a must. We like to add a little extra smoke for flavor and a glaze always helps amp up the flavor. Here is an easy recipe that everyone is sure to love!

What you need

bacon grease
bbq seasoning

can cherry pie filling

oz cherry juice

cup brown sugar

tbsp corn starch
Instructions
0 Get smoker set to 250 degrees. 1 Rub binder on ham and then season generously with favorite bbq rub. 2 Place on smoker at 250 fro around 3 hrs. 3 To make glaze combine cherry cola, pie filling, brown sugar, and 1 tbsp bbq seasoning in a pan then blend with immersion blender to puree. On low med heat bring to a simmer then add corn starch slurry to thicken and remove from heat. 4 After ham has smoked for 3 hrs transfer to aluminum pan and pour glaze over ham. Place back on smoker for another hour. 5 Allow to cool then slice. Enjoy!View original recipe
