0 First, set up grill for non direct heat and get temp to 350 degrees. 1 Make sure chicken is fully thawed, wipe moisture off outside with a paper towel. 2 Add some bacon grease or oil to skin and then season heavily with preferred BBQ rub. 3 Pour out (or drink) about 4oz from beer and place in chicken stand. 4 Place chicken on can with legs on bottom. 5 Put chicken on non direct heat until it reaches around 150 degrees in the thickest part of the breast. 6 Next, brush BBQ sauce over entire chicken. 7 Continue to cook until internal temp is 160 degrees which should be around 75-90 minutes. 8 Remove from grill and rest for around 10-15 minutes before serving.View original recipe
